CLC Lakeshore meetings

As the College of Lake County’s facilities master planning process nears completion, the college will conduct a series of community meetings to finalize the scope of a planned expansion of CLC’s Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan.

CLC President Jerry Weber said college staff will meet with elected officials and business, civic, education and faith-based groups in January and February.

He said a report on feedback from the groups will be prepared for the CLC board, and the trustees will meet with leaders of several of the groups in March or April.

A $47.9 million expansion of the campus is included on a list of capital projects approved by Gov. Pat Quinn and the state legislature, although funding for the project has not yet been released.
