McHenry Co. DAR to meet Nov. 16 in Crystal Lake

Kishwaukee Trail Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold its next meeting on Monday, Nov. 16 at Home State Bank's community room, Route 14 and Main, Crystal Lake.

The general meeting will begin at 10 a.m. followed by a program given by Eunice Bailey, Illinois' DAR National Defense chairwoman. A potluck lunch will follow. The meeting is open to members, guests and prospective members.

The DAR, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a volunteer women's service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education.
