Chicago Express skates to opening victory

Toledo, OHIO -- The Chicago Express captured a 5-1 ECHL win over Toledo in the first game in franchise history as Blair Riley and Drew Paris each scored a pair of goals and Evan Stephens added a goal.

Express goalie Rob Nolan notched the victory.

The Express plays its inaugural home game on Saturday against the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30 p.m. at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.
