Schaumburg resident Rich Janowski has been selected as the season ticket winner for next year's debut of Schaumburg's new professional baseball team. Janowski was picked from a pool of more than 1,200 entrants who stopped by the Schaumburg Pro Baseball booth at Schaumburg's Septemberfest last month. "I am glad that baseball is back in Schaumburg!" Janowski said. "I am very grateful that Schaumburg Pro Baseball was at Septemberfest and gave the chance to offer some baseball excitement to the fans again." Janowski also will attend Tuesday's launch party at which the name and logo of the new team will be revealed.
