Salt Creek hosts Oktoberfest in Palatine

The Salt Creek Rural Park District will host its 18th Annual Oktoberfest from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2 at Twin Lakes, 1200 E. Twin Lakes Drive, Palatine.

The event will feature German food and music by Dick Theml and the Alpiners. The park district will collect five food items or $5 for the Palatine Food Pantry in exchange for a pumpkin.
