Bell said members of the department's High Technology Crimes Unit received information Denofrio was involved in child pornography.

Based on that information, they obtained a search warrant and went to the apartment complex Friday.

Denofrio was not home when police arrived, but officers executed the search warrant.

They were able to confiscate the home computer, Bell said, then left before Denofrio came back. When he did return to the apartment he was arrested.

Denofrio is due back in court on Oct. 6.
