Cirque du Soleil’s retooled ‘Quidam’ to play Sears Centre

Cirque du Soleil is sending in the clowns of its show “Quidam” to the Chicago area again, but this time at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates for eight performances between Feb. 8-12, 2012.

“Quidam” previously played Chicago in 1998 within its iconic blue and yellow big top tent, but now it returns in an indoor arena-adapted touring version. Tickets range from $35-$80 ($28-$65 for kids ages 12 and under and $31.50-$67.50 for students and seniors) and go on sale to the general public starting Friday, Sept. 30.
