Visiting West Aurora, ranked No. 11, delivered a 27-25, 25-15 victory over West Chicago on Thursday, dropping the defending DuPage Valley Conference girls volleyball champion Wildcats 2 back of the league lead.
Julia Conard had 6 kills and 6 digs and Nora Palermo 4 kills and 2 blocks for No. 15 West Chicago (14-3, 3-3). Payton Bayless added 10 assists and Mary Kate Katarzynski 8.
