Palatine’s Buehler YMCA to add parking

The Buehler YMCA in Palatine plans on expanding its existing parking lot by an additional 70 spaces. Operations Director Mark Purcell said the gym at 1400 W. Northwest Hwy. gets extremely crowded at certain times of the day, requiring more room. The additional parking will be located on the west end of the existing lot. The YMCA also will plant seven additional trees along the edge.
