Fair offers details on housing, care services for seniors

Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc. is hosting its 11th annual Senior Housing & Home Care Services Fair from 8:30 a.m.-noon Thursday, Sept. 22, at the Arlington Heights Senior Center, 1801 W. Central Road.

This one-of-a-kind fair offers a convenient, one-stop shopping experience with more than 50 local businesses on hand to showcase their senior-related services.

Various senior housing communities, including independent living, assisted living, supportive living and nursing and rehabilitation care, will be represented, as well as numerous home care and home health care services. Exhibitors will provide information, answer questions and offer free giveaways.

In previous years, adult children have benefited from stopping by the fair as a first step in gathering information for their parents, including those who are out of state.

Arlington Heights Senior Center, Inc. is a nonprofit fundraising body that works to broaden the economic foundation of the Arlington Heights Senior Center.

Complimentary breakfast snacks, juice and coffee will be served throughout the morning. The fair is free and open to people of all ages. No reservations necessary.
