Barrington firefighters holding open house Saturday

The Barrington Fire Department and Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District will hold their annual open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 24 at the fire station in the Barrington Public Safety Building, 400 N. Northwest Highway in Barrington.

Fire Chief James Arie encourages village and district residents and business owners to attend the open house. It is an opportunity to view state-of-the-art lifesaving technology, meet the firefighters who protect the communities and see how their tax dollars support fire suppression and emergency medical services.
