Monster trucks return to Sears Centre

Five top Monster Trucks, each weighing in at more than 10,000 pounds, return to the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates March 9-10 for the E3 Spark Plugs Monster Truck Nationals presented by Lucas Oil.

The show in this arena setting provides a “close up” personal monster truck experience. Fans can interact with trucks and drivers; feel the rumble of the engines and witness all the ground-pounding, car-crushing action up close.

Monster trucks will compete in side-by-side drags, wheelie competition, and in axle-wrenching freestyle. The event will feature two trucks from Team Bigfoot “The Original Monster Truck”, the E3 Bigfoot, and the new cow truck BigfootBessie, plus Star Marshal, Lucas Oil Stabilizer, and Chalkboard Chuck, the truck that wants your autograph.

In addition to the monster trucks, Transaurus, the fire-breathing, car-crushing dinosaur will do some devastation and destruction as the beast chomps cars and flings fire over 20 feet.

Everyone purchasing a ticket to a performance is invited to come two hours before that performance for the Free Pit Party and Driver Autograph Session. The monster truck drivers will meet the fans, pose for photos and show off their machines up close.
