Photos released of Carol Stream bank robber
The FBI has released photos of a man suspected of robbing a bank in Carol Stream.
The robbery occurred at West Suburban Bank, 895 E. Geneva Road, about 5 p.m. Monday.
Authorities said the suspect approached a teller and announced the robbery, before being handed an undisclosed amount of cash and fleeing on foot.
No weapon was displayed, but the suspect implied he had a weapon, according to FBI Special Agent Ross Rice.
The suspect is described as a white male in his mid 20s, 5-foot-10 to 6 feet tall, with dark hair and a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black-and-gray-striped hooded sweatshirt and sunglasses.
