Kil wins Mundelein’s invitational

Mundelein invitational: At Countryside, Grace Kil fired a 4-over 76, 1 shot better than Lexi Harkins of Crystal Lake Central Co-op, leading Buffalo Grove (350) to the invite championship.

Crystal Lake Central (352) finished 2 strokes behind in second, while Mundelein (367) was third in the eight-team field.

Mundelein’s Courteney Fabbri (87) and Christina Loverde (89) finished fifth and sixth, respectively. The Mustangs also counted Holly Gotlund’s 95 and Meghan Barina’s 96.

Besides Kil’s winning score, Buffalo Grove received a 90 from Amber Guiao (eighth) and 92s from Courtney Meyer (ninth) and Kelli Zickert (10th).
