Algonquin church to worship at new location

After 25 years of worship, Light of Christ Lutheran Church has outgrown its worship space at 100 Hanson Road in Algonquin.

With the help of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America Metro Synod, the church rented space at Westfield Community School, 2100 Sleepy Hollow Road in Algonquin, for worship Sunday mornings.

The worship schedule is: a blended service at 5 p.m. Saturdays, a contemporary service at 8:30 a.m. and a blended service at 10 a.m. Sundays at the church. There also will be a contemporary service at 10:45 a.m. Sundays.
