Fishing derby Saturday at a park in Mount Prospect

The Mount Prospect Park District brings recreational fishing to youngsters age 4 to 14 on Saturday, September 17, from 9-11 am at Robert T. Jackson Clearwater Park. The fishing derby will open at 8:30 a.m. with an educational clinic on water and safety presented by Ron Aichholzer. The fishing derby will begin at 9 a.m. Fee is $7 for residents and $12 for nonresidents per child. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Bait will be provided.
