Fine arts festival in Grayslake

The Lake County Art League will hold the annual Prairie Crossing Fine Arts Festival, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at The Shops at Station Square, 970 Harris Road, in Grayslake — off Route 137 near the Metra station. The festival is a juried fine arts and crafts show, with about 30 artists. A variety of mediums will be offered, including oil and water color paintings, photography, jewelry and fine crafts. “This year we have added a free art raffle that anyone attending the event can sign up for,” said Jerry Hosten, the league’s festivals director.
