PRNewswire

DEERFIELD — Textura Corporation, the leading provider of collaboration solutions for the construction industry, has relocated its primary data center to Latisys-Chicago in Oak Brook.

The Tier III data center offers world-class physical security, power availability, infrastructure flexibility and growth capacity.

“Latisys is the newest and one of the largest Tier III data centers in North America.  Textura is continually looking for ways to enhance our service levels.  This move represents one of many steps we have taken recently toward improving our infrastructure,” said Jeff Wagner, Textura CTO. “We know our applications are critical to our client’s operations.  Clients can rest assured that Textura’s applications are available when they need them and that their data is secure.”

“The new data center is fully managed and monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  It offers more advanced redundancy for all aspects of data center operations, multi-carrier connectivity and is located on a separate power grid,” Wagner added.

Textura’s secondary data center site is located in Textura’s headquarters.  It is fully owned and managed by Textura to provide an added layer of redundancy for Textura’s applications in disaster recovery scenarios.
