Siena Heights (0-0) at Robert Morris (0-2)

When: 1 p.m. Saturday

Where: Morris Field, 2123 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights

Last week: Siena Heights (Mich.) didn’t play; Robert Morris lost to Minnesota State-Moorhead 28-17

Outlook: Robert Morris will actually have the edge in experience as it faces a Siena Heights program from Michigan that will be playing its inaugural game as a program. For the second straight week Robert Morris took a lead into the fourth quarter but was hit by two quick scoring drives by MSUM. “With a young football team we’re figuring out what it takes to win in the second half,” said RMU coach Jared Williamson. But opponents will quickly learn the Eagles have a dangerous and dynamic duo of freshmen from St. John’s Prep in Frederick, Md., in LaMont Wims and Deshawn Weaver on offense. Last week Weaver caught a 66-yard TD pass from freshman QB Matt Westerkamp and Wims went 87 yards with a screen pass for a score. “They’re great competitors,” Williamson said. “We knew they would be impact guys from the get-go.” Robert Morris will be off next week before returning home to face Ave Maria University (Fla.) at 11 a.m. on Sept. 24.
