Join in the fun at the annual celebration of Pioneer Day from noon-4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, at the Elk Grove Historical Museum Campus.

Bring the kids to the petting zoo, watch military re-enactments and listen to live cannon firings every hour. Discover the art of historical crafts, play historical games, and dance to live Civil War music. Build a scarecrow with the Elk Grove Garden Club for only $7. Come and relax, buy a nice lunch and enjoy guided tours of the museum campus.

The Pioneer Day is presented by the Elk Grove Park District and the Elk Grove Historical Society. Admission is free.

The Farmhouse Museum Campus is a facility of the Elk Grove Park District and is at 399 Biesterfield Road in Elk Grove Village.
