Kris Jenner to guest co-host on 'The Talk'

NEW YORK — Soon, the Kardashian sisters are going to have a hard time keeping up with their mom, Kris Jenner.

Jenner appears on the E! reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” and manages the careers of her daughters Khloe, Kourtney and Kim. She is also set to serve as a guest co-host on CBS' daytime show “The Talk” this fall.

“I hope a little bit of my own personality and the way that I am with my family is the same thing I am going to bring to ‘The Talk' — as a mother and a wife and a businesswoman and a friend and all those things,” Jenner said in an interview Wednesday night at a party for the Kardashian Kollection at Sears.

Jenner said it was natural for her three older daughters to launch a clothing line.

“I like to build things and to create something out of nothing and have it be successful. This is an example here tonight that Kim and I dreamed about,” she said. “It is about setting goals.”

Besides guiding her family's careers, Jenner has written a memoir, “Kris Jenner ... And All Things Kardashian,” set for release in November.

“I wanted to do a business book, but I wanted to get my memoir out of the way. Tell my story. This is what my thing is. This is how I grew up. My first marriage (to the late attorney Robert Kardashian) into my second marriage (to former Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner), kids and my journey through all of that. I think you will be really surprised,” she said. “I had two very distinct, separate lives.”
