Cook of the Week? Aug. 4, 1999

What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? I love goat cheese and like to use it in salads, spreads and even entrees.

Describe your style or approach to cooking. I’m not sure I have a specific style of cooking. I often look at the clock, notice it is getting close to dinner time, and open the pantry and fridge to see what I can put together. I like to entertain casually, but with food that tastes as good as you’d find in a restaurant, or as close as I can get. Lately I have been on a roasted vegetable kick, which my children actually eat. Yum!

Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? I think it would be fun and challenging. I would be dishonest if I didn’t say I’m a little intimidated, but I still think it would be fun.
