Apache has evacuated about 400 workers from gulf operations

Apache Corp. said it has evacuated about 400 workers from the Gulf of Mexico and shut some fields ahead of an approaching storm. The shut-ins were necessary after other pipelines and platforms were shut-in, Bill Mintz, a company spokesman said.
