What is your favorite ingredient and how do you like to use it? Herbes de Provence is my favorite ingredient because of its unique flavor which is a blend of several herbs. A small amount of this herb is all you need to enhance the qualities of other ingredients in a recipe without being overpowering. Unlike some herbs that seem to be used on specific foods such as meat, fish or Italian sauces, herbes de Provence can be used in a wide range of dishes.

Describe your style or approach to cooking. Easy, relaxed and nutritious. Always leave room for make-it-up as you go.

Why do you want to be part of the Cook of the Week Challenge? To show people that simple can be delicious, it does’t take a lot of time. Recipes can be adjusted to you and your family’s tastes.
