Naperville Police Sgt. Gregg Bell said the teen did, indeed, take a bus to and from the Denver metropolitan area and arrived back in Naperville sometime over the weekend.

Police said a patron at the McDonald's at River Street and Ogden Avenue recognized Chris around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday and called police.

Bell said officers responded and Christopher willingly went with them to the Naperville Police Department.
