2 arrested after drugs, guns found in Barrington home

Two Barrington men were arrested Tuesday morning after drugs and firearms were found in their home, according to police.

Agents of the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, local police drug task forces and Barrington police searched the home on the 200 block of West Lincoln Avenue at 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Charges were pending against the men as of Tuesday afternoon.

The house was posted as “uninhabitable” due to health and safety violations.

Authorities continue to investigate and further arrests are possible, according to the Barrington Police Department.

Police did not indicate what type of drugs were found in the home.
