Arlington Hts. asks for comments on police department

As part of the reaccreditation program of the Arlington Heights Police Department, the public is invited to comment at a meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, in the first-floor Buechner Room at village hall, 33 S. Arlington Heights Road,

The Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies Inc. is looking for community input in four areas: policy and procedures, administration, operations and support services.

Comments in person or via phone will be limited to 10 minutes and should address the department's ability to meet CALEA standards.
