Wisconsin governor surveying storm damage

CHILI, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker will survey tornado damage in central Wisconsin Thursday.

Walker will be in the Clark County community of Chili, which was hit hard by an EF2 tornado Tuesday. Four houses were destroyed and dozens of others were damaged, as well as outbuildings and crops.

The Clark County Emergency Government office is calling for volunteers to help with the cleanup. The Salvation Army and Chili Fire Department will be coordinating volunteers Thursday and Friday.

Officials say a man in hospice care died when the storm caused a power outage that shut down his oxygen machine.

The National Weather Service says a weaker tornado touched down in Shawano County Tuesday night.
