Bulls/Sox collect food

The Bulls/Sox Academy is collecting food during September, Hunger Action Month, for the Northern Illinois Food Bank and the Greater Chicago Food Depository to feed the hungry.

The academy will have food collection boxes throughout the month at its locations in Lisle, Glen Ellyn and LaGrange. All canned and nonperishable food will be accepted.

Every person donating a food item will receive a voucher for 15 minutes of free hitting and a chance to win autographed White Sox merchandise. Academy locations are: 6200 River Bend Drive, Lisle; La Grange Recreation Department, 536 East Ave,; Ackerman Park, 800 St. Charles Road, Glen Ellyn.
