Bartlett

• Loi Q. Chu, 47, of the 4N200 block of Doral Street, Bartlett, was arrested around 3:20 a.m. Aug. 18 at his home and charged with battery after a confrontation at 1075 Army Trail Road. His court date is Sept. 13.

• Samuel L. Meinders, 21, of the 0-100 block of King Drive, Streamwood, was arrested around 3:10 a.m. Aug. 11 at North Bartlett Road and Tall Tree in Streamwood and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. His court date is Sept. 16.

• Pamela M. Bertolami-Spytkowski, 37, of the 7500 block of Sarson Way, Hanover Park, was arrested around 12:25 p.m. Aug. 11 on the 1600 block of Liberty in Hanover Park and charged with retail theft and battery.

• Two women stole several bottles of vodka valued at $1,057 from Dominick's on West Stearns Road around 9:25 a.m. Aug. 18.

• Burglars broke into a semitractor truck on Vulcan Boulevard overnight Aug. 13-14 and stole money, briefcase, GPS, CB radio, airgun, toolbox, exhaust temperature gauge, steering wheel hub, glove box cover and 22 switch extensions. Value was estimated at $5,385.

• A motorist and a passenger escaped their car after it left the road and ended up in a pond on Hecht Drive around 7:30 a.m. Aug. 17. Paramedics arrived and met with them.

• Thieves stole a watch and six rings out of a home on Old Barn Court between Aug. 1 and 12. Value was estimated at $3,000.

• A man tricked a woman on Jodi Court around 5:05 p.m. Aug. 18 by telling her he had purchased the home next door. He talked her into going to her backyard with him. He told her he would get a card for her from his car. He drove away in a sedan. The woman discovered some of her things inside the home had been moved and several drawers in her bedroom were open.

• Thieves stole a purse with cellphone and camera from a female customer at Cadillac Ranch, 1175 W. Lake St. around 3:05 p.m. Aug. 12. Value was estimated at $600.

Hanover Park

• Roman Vorobets, 27, of the 1400 block of East Canterbury, Mundelein, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. Aug. 18 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Noe Chavez, 24, of the 2000 block of Arbor Vitae Drive, Hanover Park, was arrested around 4:55 p.m. Aug. 18 at Pine Tree and Walnut and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Manuel Juarez, 22, of the 2400 block of Leslie, Hanover Park, was arrested around 9:20 p.m. Aug. 18 on the 2400 block of Leslie and charged with obstructing, resisting and battery.

• Robert Graham, 37, of the 0-100 block of Squanto Court, Schaumburg, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Dwayne Worthy, 32, of the 0-100 block of King Drive, Streamwood, was arrested around 3:05 p.m. Aug. 16 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Cesar Carranco, 24, of the 500 block of Deerpark, Bartlett, was arrested around 8:15 p.m. Aug. 15 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Jorge Bermudez, 44, of the 1200 block of Fulton, Streamwood, was arrested around 1:15 a.m. Aug. 14 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Ronal Aleman-Marquez, 22, of the 400 block of Arbor, Schaumburg, was arrested around 1 p.m. Aug. 14 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Sai Hong Chan, 55, of the 1100 block of Regency, Schaumburg, was arrested around 2:45 p.m. Aug. 14 in a store at 7435 Barrington Road and charged with retail theft.

• Rubaljeet Gill, 26, of the 1400 block of Sutter, Hanover Park, was arrested around 9:35 p.m. Aug. 13 at Bear Flag and Lake Street and charged with possession of marijuana.

• Eric Lam, 24, of the 7400 block of Jensen, Hanover Park, was arrested around 10:15 p.m. Aug. 12 on the 7400 block of Jensen and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Vandals set a small pile of wood chips on fire that damaged playground equipment at Anne Fox School, 1035 Parkview, Aug. 16.

• Vandals set a picnic table on fire in a park district park at Barrington Road and Bristol Aug. 15.
