Rosemont police help, then arrest, stranded motorist

A 37-year-old Chicago man whose car ran out of gas along River Road in Rosemont faces a felony charge after the police officer who stopped to help says he found four grams of cocaine in the car. Gregory Larsen, who listed an address on Bryn Mawr Avenue, was charged with driving on a suspended license and possession of a controlled substance. He was being held in Cook County Jail until he could post a $500 bond. His next court appearance will be at 9 a.m., Sept. 15, in Rolling Meadows courtroom 108.
