Dahmer survivor enters plea in man's death

MILWAUKEE — The man who led police to serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer 20 years ago has pleaded not guilty to throwing a man off a bridge into the Milwaukee River.

The victim, 43-year-old Johnny Jordan, drowned in the river July 26.

Fifty-two-year-old Tracy Edwards and a co-defendant, 44-year-old Timothy Carr, waived their preliminary hearing Monday afternoon in Milwaukee County Circuit Court and entered the plea to first-degree recklessly endangering safety. WISN-TV reports (http://bit.ly/oqjOcl ) they allegedly argued with Jordan, picked him up and threw him off a downtown Milwaukee bridge.

Edwards was in the headlines in 1991 when he escaped from Dahmer's apartment and led police to him.
