Schaumburg On Stage actors bring Peanuts gang to life

Schaumburg On Stage, the Northwest suburbs' premiere theater group for young actors, will present “You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown.” Featuring Ryan Wenzel of Schaumburg in the title role of Charlie Brown, the performances will be held at the Schaumburg High School Auditorium through Aug. 6.Rounding out the cast of performers is Jonathan Knitter of Schaumburg as Linus; Tim Ackerlund of Schaumburg and Ian Joseph of Hoffman Estates as Snoopy; Nathan Spees of Schaumburg and Jarett La Berg of Schaumburg as Schroeder; Lea Cartina of Wood Dale and Ally Knowles of Romeoville as Lucy; and Samantha Gatwood of Elk Grove Village and Natalie Ragusin of Medinah as Sally.Now in its 14th season of quality community theater, Schaumburg On Stage has brought the lovable Peanuts characters created by cartoonist Charles Schultz to the stage with more than 90 performers.Performances will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4, and Saturday, Aug. 6, and 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 5, in the Schaumburg High School auditorium, 1100 W.
