Historic Bartlett art exhibit seeking entries

You’re invited to participate in a photography/art exhibit, which features a Bartlett building that is at least 50 years old. The Bartlett Historical Society and Arts in Bartlett are co-sponsoring an exhibit called “These Walls Do Talk.” Both old and contemporary photos are welcome.

High school students and adults are invited to submit photos, drawings, or paintings of Bartlett-area buildings. You must request owner permission if the building is privately owned. Photo(s) must be framed: no smaller than 8-by-10 inches, no larger than 30-by-30 inches.

An application/loan agreement form, with additional guidelines, is due Friday, Aug. 26, and can be requested by emailing carolbartletthissoc@comcast.net or going to artsinbartlett.org. The art must be dropped off by Friday, Sept. 2, at the Bartlett Village Hall.

For questions on the exhibit, call Lambert at (630) 289-4253 or Darrell Green at (630) 372-4152. For historical questions, call Carol at (630) 289-8592.

The exhibit will run at the Bartlett Village Hall Gallery, second floor, from Sept. 6 through Sept. 30.
