Skate rink DJ: Gunman 'smooth, cool' as he shot 5

GRAND PRAIRIE, Texas — The disc jockey at the Texas roller rink where a man went on a shooting rampage during his son's birthday party says the gunman was "smooth, cool" as he shot his estranged wife and members of her family.

Allen Tillotson says 35-year-old Tan Do was calm and methodical as he shot and killed his wife, Trini, and four others after they'd sung "Happy Birthday" to the couple's 11-year-old son Saturday night.

The DJ at the rink in suburban Grant Prairie said Monday he saw Do speak to his son briefly after the singing.

Tillotson says Do then pulled a gun from his pants and begin shooting partygoers at close range. He says the man reloaded after using up one round.

Do killed himself at the end of the rampage.
