White Sox vs. Cleveland Indians at Progressive Field
TV: Comcast SportsNet Friday and Sunday; WGN Saturday
Radio: WSCR 670-AM
Pitching matchups: The White Sox' Gavin Floyd (7-9) vs. Carlos Carrasco (8-7) Friday at 6:05 p.m.; Edwin Jackson (6-7) vs. David Huff (1-0) Saturday at 6:05 p.m.; Phil Humber (8-6) vs. Justin Masterson (8-6) Sunday at 12:05 p.m.
At a glance: It'll be interesting to see how the White Sox respond after manager Ozzie Guillen ripped his unproductive offense following Wednesday's 2-1 loss in 11 innings at Kansas City. Unlike the rest of the AL Central, the Sox so far have played well against the surprising Indians, going 4-1. They opened the season winning two of three at Cleveland. Adam Dunn sat out the past two games, reportedly with a sore knee. Dunn actually has fared well vs. Cleveland this season, going 6-for-16 with 1 home run and 8 RBI. Floyd started against the Indians at U.S. Cellular Field on May 19 and earned the win after allowing 1 earned run in 7 innings.
Next: Detroit Tigers, Monday-Wednesday at U.S. Cellular Field
