Arlene Mulder’s grandchildren from Massachusetts do the honors at Monday’s meeting

Visiting grandchildren of Arlington Heights Village President Arlene Mulder performed the flag ceremony Monday, July 18, at the village board meeting.

Rides Scerbin, a Boy Scout, and his brother Max, a Cub Scout, carried and posted the flags. Their sister, Sophie, a Brownie, led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

They are the children of Michelle and Vladimir Scerbin and live in Westborough, Mass.

The village invites Scout troops to lead the Pledge of Allegiance at the beginning of board meetings.
