Visiting grandchildren of Arlington Heights Village President Arlene Mulder performed the flag ceremony Monday, July 18, at the village board meeting.

Rides Scerbin, a Boy Scout, and his brother Max, a Cub Scout, carried and posted the flags. Their sister, Sophie, a Brownie, led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance.

They are the children of Michelle and Vladimir Scerbin and live in Westborough, Mass.
