Daily Herald report

Arlington Heights police are seeking information on a residential burglary between 8:20 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 1800 block of N. Windsor Drive.

Burglars forced open a rear sliding glass door and ransacked several rooms, removing approximately $10,000 cash and five handguns valued at approximately $2,500. Several rifles removed from an upstairs office were found on the ground outside and it appears the burglars were interrupted when the resident returned home.
