Palatine fire groups to host blood drive Aug. 1

The Palatine Fire Department, Board of Health and Medical Reserve Corps/Fire Rehab Team will host a “Firefighter Blood Donor Challenge” from 1 to 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, at Palatine Fire Station No. 84, 220 W. Illinois Ave. All participating donors will receive a commemorative T-shirt, and there will be a BBQ. LifeSource will conduct the blood drive.
