Rose reportedly set for Philippines trip

According to multiple reports, Bulls guard Derrick Rose has agreed to participate in a pair of exhibition games in the Philippines next weekend.

Rose will join a squad of NBA players, which also is expected to include Kobe Bryant, Chris Paul, Sacramento’s Tyreke Evans, Oklahoma City’s James Harden, L.A. Clippers center DeAndre Jordan and Minnesota rookie Derrick Williams.

Kevin Durant and Blake Griffin also were mentioned as possibilities, but both all-stars reportedly have backed out.

The NBA stars will take on a pair of local teams at Araneta Coliseum, outside of Manila, next Saturday and Sunday. The two games reportedly will benefit Philippines basketball.
