The Bartlett Character Counts Coalition has its fourth annual Bartlett Community Character Expo from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 20, at the Hanover Township Senior Center, 240 S. Route 59, in Bartlett.
The public is invited to the expo which features several governmental agencies, including the 55th Representative District, Cook County 15th District, Hanover Township and the village of Bartlett Police Department, Fire Protection District, Library District and Park District.
In addition, some civic groups such as the Bartlett Woman's Club, Arts in Bartlett, the Bartlett Historical Society, VFW and the Bartlett Chamber of Commerce will participate. The agencies will offer voter, library card and program registration, as well as health screenings.
The Character Counts Coalition recognizes its Six Pillars of Character and strives to help the residents of Bartlett become better citizens. The township provides vital services to its residents, and the expo is a way to learn more about how to participate in these programs and services. These services include general assistance, passport applications, Embracelet program, handicap placard, property assessments and senior scam awareness.
