Wauconda having Hawaiian-themed farmers market

A special Hawaiian-themed farmers market makes its appearance in Wauconda on Thursday, July 14. Some of the village’s Main Street restaurants, including Bull Dogs, Honey Hill, Bliss Wine and Gifts, and Lindy’s Landing, will serve Hawaiian wines, coffee, hamburgers, and much more. The event will also feature a Hula Show by Aloha Chicago Entertainment company at 6 p.m. and several contests and games. Raffle tickets will be sold at the farmers market for a grand prize 7-night trip for two to Maui at the Grand Wailea Resort and Spa or to the Big Island at the Fairmont Orchid Resort. Tickets are $10 each. The farmers market runs from 3 to 7:30 p.m. on the west side of Main Street in Wauconda. Free admission.
