Cruise on over to cruise night in Algonquin

The Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Chamber of Commerce is ready to rev up the community with this month's summer cruise night from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Oakridge Shopping Center in Algonquin in the parking area across from Sonic Drive-In, at 1090 S. Randall Road in Algonquin.

This family fun event includes visiting with the car enthusiasts, visiting with local businesses all while enjoying great music and activities. Also participating is the Algonquin/Lake in the Hills Fire Protection District with their Touch a Truck program.

To help the local food pantry, visitors and car enthusiasts are encouraged to bring a nonperishable food item and as a thank-you, receive a coupon for a free ice cold treat from Sonic Drive-In.
