Forgiveness can help well-being talk in Geneva

Leslie Karen Sann, M.A., LCPC, will be leading an essential workshop about the power of forgiveness and how to use this gift to achieve the greatest well-being from 6 to 7:30 p. m. Thursday, July 14 at the LivingWell Cancer Resource Center, 1803 W. State St. in Geneva.

“Forgiveness is an extremely powerful tool,” Sann Said. “Forgiveness sets us free. It’s the antidote, the secret weapon, to free people of the prison of negativity and self-created suffering.”

Sann has been an innovative board certified professional counselor, educator and coach for more than 25 years, who uses her gifts to awaken possibility, authenticity, and joy. She has a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of Santa Monica, with an emphasis in spiritual psychology. She also has a master’s of theology in practical spirituality and she received her bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University. She is an experienced licensed clinician, who in addition to ongoing professional training, has completed two intensive training programs in coaching and is a certified ontological coach.
