Juggling convention hits Springfield

SPRINGFIELD — There's a whole lot of juggling going on in Springfield.

Illinois' capital city is playing host to the 7th annual World Juggling Federation's International Convention.

WUIS Radio reports that 15-year-old Tanner Alder came to the central Illinois event from Salt Lake City to show off his juggling skills. Alder says he learned how to juggle by watching videos online.

This is the first year the convention has been held in Springfield. It previously was held in Las Vegas.

This year's convention features a "major league combat" competition, which pits juggling teams against each other.
