The subject article states that Round Lake Maayor Dietz “wished people would behave themselves.” Scrolling down the comments online, I read several of the vituperative, false, misleading and hateful prose signed with pseudonyms,

In a way, I’m glad that one writer doesn’t like Bonnie Carter Thomson. With such enemies, her constituency can only grow faster.

So much for wishful thinking, Mr. Mayor! Your council’s unanimous action guarantees a busy summer on the pond. One can only hope for lots more rain and cold days ahead to cool the few contrary voices who have thus far held sway.

It’s true that your government lost no votes taking this action. It is also true that when you look the other way when trouble starts, you know in your hearts that you lit the fuse.
