CARSON, Calif -- The Chicago Fire took their unbeaten streak to eight MLS games with a 1-1 draw against Chivas USA on Saturday night.

Chivas USA, which hasn't won in four games, equalized seconds after halftime when Nick LaBrocca fired a shot from 20 yards out that deflected off the cross bar and into the net.

Dominic Oduro put the Fire ahead in the 26th minute when he took a pass from Patrick Nyarko and beat then goalkeeper Dan Kenned.

The Fire haven't lost in 10 matches overall since a 2-1 loss on May 21 against Philadelphia, including a tie and a win in U.S. Open Cup competition.
