Two-way traffic on Palatine Road to resume

The Palatine Road improvement project in downtown Palatine is continuing to progress, with two-way traffic scheduled to resume Friday east of the train tracks.

Vehicles traveling south on Benton will still be prohibited from turning east onto Palatine for the time being, however, due to a lane height differential.

For Palatine Road between Smith Street and Plum Grove Road, two-way traffic will be maintained throughout the holiday weekend.
