The Heart of a Marine hosts fundraiser July 21

Elk Grove Village-based The Heart of a Marine Foundation will host a fundraising event July 21 at the Ram Restaurant and Brewery in Schaumburg.

The event will raise money for the Adaptive Athletes Race the foundation is sponsoring as part of the Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove cycling competition Sunday, Aug. 7.

Ten percent of sales from 5 to 9 p.m. will be donated by the Ram, as well as all proceeds from Black H’ops IPA. The beer will debut that night. There will also be a silent auction and free brewery tours.
