Arlington Stampede is back July 3

Hit the pavement, runners. The Frontier Days Stampede is back with a series of races July 3 that start at Miner School, 1101 E. Miner St., and end at Recreation Park.

Race Day information:

Ÿ Registration and packet pickup: 6:15-7:15 a.m.

Ÿ 5K run start: 7:30 a.m.

Ÿ 10K run start: 7:30 a.m.

Ÿ 5K walk start: 7:35 a.m.

Ÿ Kids 1/4-mile dash: about 9 a.m. The Dash starts and ends at Recreation Park.

The 10K and 5K routes are the same as last year, flat and fast through residential areas. Both are USATF certified routes.

Strollers, baby joggers, etc., will be permitted only on the 5K Fitness Walk.

Aid stations with Gatorade and water will be provided. Digital time clocks will be posted at each mile marker on the course.

Einstein Bros. Bagels, Bear Naked Granola, Clif Bars, Jamba Juice, lots of fresh fruit, Matt’s Chocolate Chip Cookies, Gatorade, Water, etc. will be served at the finish line.

Race packets can be picked up July 1 and 2 at Runner’s High ‘n Tri, 121 W. Campbell St., or at 6:15 a.m. Race Day at Miner School. Allow 48 hours after registering online to pick up your packet and Runner’s High n’ Tri.

Entry fees:

10K and 5K run: $35.

5K Walk $25: $30

1/4-mile Kids Dash: $15
